South Surrey's real estate is considered one of the priciest neighborhoods to live in Surrey with a population of over 62,000 people.
South Surrey is home to Southridge School, top private school in Greater Vancouver. It schools kids from kindergarten to Grade 12, and ranks third by Fraser Institute in 2014.
There are only three public secondary schools: Semiahmoo Secondary School, Earl Marriott Secondary School and Elgin Park Secondary School, all of which are high-ranking schools.

South Surrey is geared towards young families who love to participate in community sports and nature scenes of vast trail walks and parks. Community activities include Softball City, South Surrey Rec Center, Hazelmere Country Club, and the new Grandview Heights Aquatic Center.
There's plenty of window shopping and necessities shopping in South Surrey's most popular Grandview Corners and Morgan Crossing, that are designed to be like a small, walkable village. Here, you'll find WalMart, Future Shop, The Brick, Superstore and Winners.
